I am so lucky I get to spend a particularly important morning with wedding parties every week and believe me; time flies when you are having fun!

So be prepared for the morning and have all the little jobs done so you can sit back enjoy the hair and make-up experience with all the chats and banter with your wedding gang.

Here are some of my top tips for Bridesmaids and Brides men on the wedding morning to help the bride and groom.

Wear a robe or top that does not go over your head  no high collars or hoods and make sure they are long enough – matching always looks fab in the pics!

Any steaming of dresses to be done the night before or early that morning before hair and makeup.

Hang the veil so any creases can drop out.

Remove any tags and stickers from clothing, shoes and hang on fancy hangers.

Keep your underwear and accessories in your shoe box – so there are no mix-ups with other members of the bridal party.

Scratch the soles of new shoes with an old key to stop new shoes slipping.

Have some snacks handy and a water bottle for everyone.

Labelled champagne glasses are a great idea.

Any cards or presents (happy tear triggers) to be given to the Bride or Groom before make up and let the photographer know to capture any special moments.

Have a wedding invite, fragrance, accessories put to one side ready to give to the photographer.

Take the bouquets out of water and pat the stems dry on a towel before you get dressed to avoid any drips or water marks.

In the summer months get a room fan to keep everyone cool, and some individual hand fans.

Have a playlist picked and downloaded for the morning.

All these little things help the morning flow.
