I met with Jill from Wilde by Design to discuss her journey with her beautiful bridal brand. These images are from a recent shoot

I first met on Lorraine  on one of Wilde by Design’s first photo shoots and instantly hit it off.
What inspires you?
I take my inspiration from many things from books, film and nature.  I have always been a fan of the magical and mystical spending days looking for fairies when I was a child!
Many of my designs have that whimsical and romantic feel.
I just love billowing fabric and fabulous drape.  Probably why I chose to specialise in working with silk as the line of the fabric is always magnificent.
I believe in letting the fabric speak for itself.
How did you break into the industry?
I started off working as a stylist and costume designer.  When I got married myself  I was shocked at the lack of choice for Irish Brides so decided to set up my own atelier where I could give brides some choice and offer an affordable bespoke service.
I love everything about my job from choosing fabrics for new collections, to meeting new customers or working with other bridal suppliers on photoshoots.   Am just so lucky to be doing a job that I absolutely love.
