We first met at a wedding a few years back but as bridal mornings usually go, it was all hands on deck and we never properly got to chat.

So I was delighted when you joined a bridal styled photo shoot I organised at Trudder Lodge in 2020.

I was blown away by the hairstyles you created and especially the headpieces you brought from your shop!

Lorraine is so calm, organised, professional and talented – it was fantastic to work together.

 In my photography I am mostly inspired by people.

I really see photography as a way to preserve all the emotions and memories, and I love the way authentic photographs transport you back in time.

I love watching people, follow their reactions, capture their emotions and get to know stories. Besides people I’m probably most inspired by light and colours!

I find that every season and every place have very distinct light and colours about them, and I love incorporating this natural element into my work.

I’m originally from Russia, but I eventually moved to Ireland in 2015 without knowing almost anyone here!

I’d planned my own wedding here in 2016 and I loved the wedding scene and the gorgeous opportunities Ireland offered, so I gave it a go! I loved photography but I was absolutely clueless as to what was involved in running a photography business!

It’s definitely been a steep learning curve. I think I started getting a better idea after I’d attended a few workshops, connected with the local photography community and worked with some amazing venues.
