Lorraine & Naomh did such a great job, & it was such a lovely morning,
I knew when I got married I would definitely want both Lorraine &
Naomh to be part of the day!
What inspires you?
There are lots of things that inspire me, but the most motivating
factor has to be, making other people happy & sharing the experience
of the Cocobrew Kombi van with couples & their guests on their wedding
day! My husband started his coffee business in the van, in 2015 &
converted it himself, so there is a lot of sentiments with it.
How did you break into the industry?
It was by chance, Tony had only started the business & he was driving
the length & breath of the country providing speciality coffee at
markets, festivals, in Kildare village & in a Volkswagon garage, he
was so excited to have his van & to be up & running, there was nothing
he wouldn’t try.
A friend of a friend was looking for a van to serve coffee outside the
church for her December wedding. My friend put us intouch & that was
the start of Saying “I Do” with Cocobrew. After we served coffee at
the wedding I saw how special it was for couple. The guests really
enjoyed the treat of a good coffee outside the church, & it created
such a lovely atmosphere.
I saw a little opportunity & after chatting with Tony we decided that
I would focus the van on weddings, while Tony would continue to focus
on corporate events, Markets & festivals. He was also making plans to
open a cafe, which he did last year!
What is your favourite part of the job?
My favourite part of the job is seeing the couples & guests reactions
when they see the Cocobrew van outside the church. Who doesn’t love a
cute VW Kombi that “Lets the love brew”! I also love all the suppliers
we meet at weddings, usually the photographers & florists who need a
caffeine fix!
Anything you would like to promote about yourself?
Our Cocobrew VW Kombi Van! There is no limit to the bespoke service
we can provide from our signature espresso martini’s to speciality
coffee & cakes served to your guests anywhere from outside the church
on a chilly Irish morning to a field in the middle of nowhere the day
after the day before!
