Few Preparation Tips For the Boys on the Wedding day!

Keep your green folder in a safe place
It’s a great idea to scan it and send it to your partner and best man.

• Always try on your suit and shirt at collection and also ask your grooms party to do the same.
• Clearly label suits and shirts they always get mixed up.
• Lots of pics of your hands so keep your nails tidy and hands moisturised.
• Wear some SPF you don’t want sunburnt faces in the evening…This is all year round.
• Choose a floral pocket squares, otherwise known as pocket square boutonnières over a traditional pinned button hole- They have a significantly superior design.
• These are very popular with grooms men for sweat patches
• Have a spare shirt ironed and ready to change into before or after the meal or both.
• Keep a mini packets of wipes and tissues handy.
• Practice your bow tie or tie before the wedding.
• Time your hair cut and facial hair so it’s just right on the wedding day.
• Have a little picnic/snacks ready for the car journey and keep hydrated – keep a water bottle nearby.
• If you’d like your hair done or some complexion make up just ask the bridal hair and make up artist – we look after grooms all the time and we will not tell anyone.


• Arrange for someone from your grooms party or a brother inlaw to walk mother of the bride down the aisle to her seat before the ceremony if she isn’t walking with the bride.
• Don’t bulk up your pockets.
• Wear your wedding shoes before the wedding around the house to break them in.
• Nervous about the speeches ? do a little course. Dublin speech and drama offer a brilliant course.
